Anyone else read and enjoyed (or not) the Wild Card books? Dr. Takisian, etc etc etc? It has been a while, and had to look up some info to refresh my memory, but they were quite good in my opinion. George RR Martin was the editor, and they were in the 'mosaic' style, where each novel was a collection of interlocking short stories, by different authors and recurring characters. HERE is a bit of a synopsis on the series. I think these would make a good TV series, as they had all sorts of elements. If you haven't read any of them, I highly recommend picking up the first, and the second..... and then you'll want the rest.

Interesting, I had never heard of this series.

After I finish up all the Orson Scott Card stuff I want ot get too, I'll have to check this out.

Martin was at a local bookstore promoting "A Feast for Crows" last month and mentioned a possible revival for his Wild Card series.
