I started reading another Series from Card called The Alvin Maker series, starts out with a book called Seventh Son, and continues with Red Prophet and Prentice Alvin.

Basically it takes place in coloniel america, only folk magic is something that is real and works. Once again Card has drawn me in with his amazing ability to make charactors real, like someone you know and care about. I'm plowing through the third book now, I believe there are a total of six. Definatly something I would recomend to anyone looking for a nice change of pace.
