The studio will add about 500 titles to the rental library on Google Play and YouTube in the U.S. and Canada. The list will include recent features such as
Captain America, Hugo, and
The Adventures of Tin Tin as well as favorites from the library such as
Coming to America and the
Godfather. New releases will rent for $3.99 and older ones will cost $2.99. They’ll be available for 24 hours from the time a viewing session begins.

The deal means that Google has distribution arrangements with five of the six major studios — Fox so far has declined to jump on the Google bandwagon— and more than 10 others including Lionsgate, Magnolia, Starz, and Weinstein.
