Friday the 13th: The Re-make?

New Line Cinema is in talks with Jonathan Liebesman to direct what is being called a remake of FRIDAY THE 13TH.

The "new version" will incorporate components of the films, though it is known that Jason will wear the mask and will kill. The setting will be that of the first movie, Crystal Lake.

Platinum Dunes will produce. The film will be released in 2007.

This just makes me shake my head :roll:
