The series will alternate every two weeks between “A” and “B” story lines, with “A” story lines will explore events tied directly to the “Fringe” show canon, while “B” story lines will take a “what-if” approach and look at how things might change if certain elements are out of balance, according to the press release. Joshua Jackson, who stars on the show, will write an arc of the series called “Peter and the Machine,” which will detail events that take place between the end of season three and the start of season four. Drew Johnson will provide art.
