Lucasfilm has loaded up a "sneak peek" for their upcoming 3-D animation series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. No network has picked up the show yet, thus there no airdate has been set yet.

Looks OK. The rendering of the people actually look a little less detailed than I would expect of the Lucas team.
If the story is half decent it should be interesting to watch. (Though I admit I may wait for a DVD release from the Library)

If that's suppose to be Queen Amidala then that's kind of creepy. Other than that looks pretty good. Likely to have far more explosions than plot tho...

So long as there is adequate toy line opportunities to be mined I'm sure Lucas will do well with it.
