Out of the blue Mr. Quinto decided to sit down with a few people and do an interview. Jonja.net was lucky enough to be one of them!
You can find Mr. Quinto as Sylar in the upcoming 3rd series of Heroes and Spock in J.J. Abrams new Star Trek movie.

A very laid back guy. Very friendly and could be found wandering the convention Saturday afternoon.
He unfortunately refused snap shots.

Timelord, did you remember what final question you wanted to ask?

I did...Not a question so much as a statement. A compliment really. I was going to tell him that I was originally pretty dubious of the film but if anyone was to play Spock, I couldn't think of a better person.

NFR = Not For Release???

To what are you referring? (I'm going to be really embarrassed if it was something I said!)

In the upper left-hand corner of the video, it says "NFR"...

Ah.. I have no idea. We didn't record it ourselves. Another website did the vids for us. iscifi.tv

I'll ask him about it tomorrow when I see him if he doesn't chime in himself.

NFR, umm... yeah. That was me.

All I did to the clip was sync it with the higher quality audio (which ain't easy without a visual que ) I thought the video was grainy, dark and well pretty static movement-wise for 6 minutes.

I have, however, clipped out the minute or so where he talks about Spock and done some processing on the video. Much better, brighter, now. I'll post it as a flash video soon - once I work out an issue with hosting our own flash videos on our site. Flash seems to be a format everybody can view without weird codec troubles.

We learned a lot this year. Next year we'll do better. Better sound. And if we can get a bigger room maybe better lighting. And you might actually get to see TL on camera! (FWIW)
