John Carter, let down by Disney and unfairly maligned by many critics, has a second chance as it comes to home video.

This visually stunning film looks as good in the living room as it did in the theater.
While the special features are too few, in my opinion, they make up in content. Some fantastic behind the scene looks at the effort and passions that went in to creating this film.
A commentary with director Andrew Stanton and other film makers is overflowing with information! Not always about what you are seeing on screen mind you, but still... If you want to know how they brought a 100 year old story to life then it is something that can not be missed!
My full review of the film itself can be found
here.
If you, like many others, passed on this due to the fact that you just had no idea what it was, (Thanks crummy Disney trailers!) or were turned away by unimaginative critics, then please, PLEASE... There are no excuses now. No crowds, no high theater prices, just you in your living room with your own snacks and a comfy chair.
You owe it to yourself to watch this film!
