If by redeems you mean Claire "experimenting" in college, then yes.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Heroes was over after the first season for me.

I have deleted this show off of my DVR record list, my wife and I are no longer interested.
Instead, we are working our way through the first season of Eureka since she missed the entire season and has never seen it......Love this show.

I'm just about ready to pull the plug in this thing myself. BORING!
Can we stop wasting time with the death "sound seeing" woman? What the heck is the point?!

Shame too, I really liked this show. Eureka is a great show. Just the right blend of characters, sci-fi, & humor.

I will have to admit though, last night episode was THE BEST in a long, long time. Curious,..it revolved around Hiro. I think he is truly the star of the show. I wish they would quit wasting time with some of the other characters. No one gives a damn about Parkman and his problems. Step in front of a bus already! Claire? Another, "yeah whatever" story line. Ditto on Peter. Now it looks like we get to see my favorite person not to see, "More-Hinder'! Yes Mohinder Suresh is going to be brought back in to the story. yippee.

I have not watched this weeks episode yet and I have to be honest, I have no interest in it. I saw the previews last week and it was all Claire, Parkman, and Peter. The 3 story arcs I care nothing about.

Now things are starting to pick up. I was a little surprised to see Gretchen leave, thought for sure she was going to reveal her “ability”. And what was with the whole lesbian thing between her & Claire? Are they that desperate for ratings?
Anxious to see what happens between Matt, Syler & Nathan, and also the return of Suresh.

I would have been truly impressed if they had 'manned up' and let Matt get himself killed an took Head-Sylar with him. THAT would have been great TV! No luck. I am really starting to have a problem with the previews for next week. It is nice to know what is coming up, but is really necessary to give up all the suspense and drama of the current episode by showing the solution in the next??
I was surprised about Gretchen too. Certainly more realistic and maybe that is why I thought it wouldn't happen. I'm not as intrigued with the Matt/Sylar/Nathan thing. I'm hoping the pay-off is worth the wait. As far as Mohinder-ence. I haven't missed him. Wonder which side he will be on this time. Heck! Who am I kidding?! He will be on both depending on the episode.
