Jonja.net is proud to present you with original recording of Science Fiction from the 1930's and 1940's.

This will be a continuing project with complete original radio broadcasts including commercials from the an era of Sci-Fi that few people today have ever experienced.

This was how Sci-Fi fans experienced Science Fiction before the days of TV. Sitting in front of Mom and Dads radio cabinet letting their imaginations paint the pictures of fantastic worlds and adventures.

I hope you enjoy this project as much as I have putting it together, I will start with a few episodes and add more each week.

Some of the content that you can look forward too hearing:

• Avenger
• Batman
• Blue Beetle
• Buck Rogers
• Flash Gordon
• Frankenstein
• Journey to the Center of Earth
• Men From the Ministry
• Omar the Wizard of Persia
• Planet Man
• Red Rider
• T Man
• The Whistler

So please sit back and put your self in an early 20th Century mindframe. There is no TV, no cable, no Internet, no Ipods, only a giant Radio cabinet with Tubs that have to warm up before the Radio will work, a dial knob and a volume knob.

Grab a pillow and lay on floor in front of the radio and blast off to adventure:

Buck Rogers: Episode One
Buck Rogers: Episode Two
Buck Rogers Episode Three - Coming Soon

Flash Gordon: On the Planet Mongo
Flash Gordon: Befriends LionMen
Flash Gordon: Episode III - Coming Soon

Journey to the Center of the Earth: Part One: The Great Discovery
Journey to the Center of the Earth: Part Two: The Shadow of Scapari
Journey to the Center of the Earth: Part Three - Coming Soon

Very cool Scorp! I love the old radio serials. I have a few radio programs in MP3 format if you are interested.

Oh, I love it! I heard it several years ago on a collection of the Most Memorable Radio Programs of the Columbia Broadcasting System.

Yeah, that is way to big for email. Can you upload on a file sharing site somewhere? That way I could just download it.

I've used "YouSendit" for some big files before. It's free up to 100megs.

I will get my files to a disc and get somewhere where I can upload them easily and let you know.
(This sort of thing was SO much easier when I had my OWN file share site at work!)

New episodes are up by the way in case you missed it.

I do have War of the Worlds now, but I need to make sure its ok to post it before I do.

All the other radio programs that I am posting are now public domain material.

WOTW (radio) is in the public domain. It (and others of the era) is available for free download from http://www.mercurytheatre.info/
