While I am sure there is some sort of technological trade off that they had to choose from, but I can’t for the life of me understand how they could not have launched a car sized rover with more storage space.

Anyway, let the freaking science begin and may they find signs that life either existed at some point in the past or still does in some sort of manner....I would love the world wide shock waves that would reverberate around the globe if they actually find a fossil no matter how small.
