Do you se any video on the front page?

I posted a small video, but since my work blocks all video I cant see if its working or not.

Can you guys see it or not?

Nope. I see the screen location where the video should appear, but I see no controls and nothing is playing. I tried both IE and Firefox browsers.

In firefox I get "plug-in required" message, and it can't find a suitable plug-in. What format is it in?

No. The thing plays audio (which I can't understand), but no video. I am using IE6.

Edit: Is there a mention of 'checking out Jonja.net' in there? It's pretty garbled.

Its a .AVI file.

I imagine that a quick google search will turn up a Firefox plugin.

Waylander, I am using IE6 at work and it plays just fine for me (Video & Audio).

scorp, I've got all the normal plugins, Flash, QT, WMP, Real Player, yada yada, and no joy. I can hear it in IE7, but like Waylander, it is just gibberish.

It was pretty noisy in the atrium where we recorded the promo. I tried to suppress the noise but since it was mostly [lots of] people talking it was hard to do that and not damp out the dialog. Timelord also has a recording of it. I'll see if his audio is cleaner but I doubt it. All else failing I'll get someone to record a voice-over (since lip syncing will be easy

)

And we'll get it up in flash format so everyone can see it!

Yeah, Cybermonk is working on it right now. He has converted the video and is working on getting to play.
