Perhaps I'm too lazy to try this out in another browser, but I think it's the sheer amount of smileys and the site animating gif that causes a constant amount of processor usage, enough for my processor (AMD Athlon II X4) fan to crank up a notch. Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

I'm using FF4. It's also summer time, which probably has something to do with it.

A few percent processor usage in Opera 11.11 while posting.
