Up to the most recent episodes I've been behind them 100%, but even I have to admit to getting tired of the current story line.
Are they going to get Peter back to his timeline or make this one change back? I'm sure someone thinks waiting till the finale to answer this is "a brilliant idea", but I'm getting bored with it. Do it and move on! This may have been better as maybe a 6 episode arc, then move on to the next dilemma.

Now they have given us some insight to the Observers. For a brief moment I thought they were going down the "we are from another world" path but fortunately they quickly swerved and it turns out they are just one possible outcome of the human race. I don't actually like this. Isn't sometimes better to let something remain a mystery? Was it really important to any portion of the story to actually know where or when they come from? I wonder how high their metachlorian levels are?

The latest news is the show is more on the bubble than ever before. Rumors circulate that they might give them a short run 5th season of 13-15 episodes, which is good, because at this point I'm not sure I would be willing to give them much more time than that myself.

Hmm, I don’t know. There seems to be a lot more going on:
1. Peter is thinking he needs to get back to his Olivia, but isn’t it possible he already has? He was erased from the time line, but now he’s back? Or is there a yet to be discovered 3rd universe?
2. The Observers are kind of like The Adjustment Bureau hat wearers, making sure events take their intended paths. One of them bent/broke the rules, and now there’s the mess between the two universes we know.
3. The Nina Sharpe and Robert Jones element. Since Peters time line changed, did his also? And where is that part of the story going? Will Peter put himself in the machine again, and what effect will that have?

There’s still a lot of room for story changes to keep my interest going.

I'm far from ready to throw in the towel. I've been with this series since day one. I'll see it through to the end no matter what.

There IS some interesting placed that the story could go, I just wish it would get there!

I don't think there is a "good" Nina in any universe. I'm just waiting to see nannie Nina show her true colors.

I watched the first 4 episodes back when the show started, and decided that it was just a quirky x-files with an annoying main character (Walter Bishop). I stopped watching. Then, surfing channels a year or so later, I caught the season 2 final episode, and decided that it was interesting enough to rent the DVD's and catch up from the beginning over the summer. It is now my favorite SciFi show.

I have to admit, I initially did not like the shuffling of all the characters at the beginning of this season. The show seemed aimless. Now, however, it has gotten interesting again, at least for me. It is certainly better than the last season of Babylon 5, which wandered aimlessly after they finished their story arc and never recovered. Both shows lost focus when they were about to be canceled, and then at the last minute got one more season. Fringe seems to be recovering nicely. I hope it survives for a season 6, but since it is Fox, I will not hold my breath.

Season IS wishful thinking LOL.. They are only on their 4th now.

Rumors swirl that Fox may give it a 13-15 episode 5th just to allow the show to finish up.

I have to hand it to the network, as crappy as they have treated other shows, even shows that WERE making them money, they have been awfully nice to Fringe. When/if Fringe is canceled I will have no hard feelings towards Fox. (At least not about THIS show)

Ah, I keep forgetting that we are only on Season 4 in this reality, but more likely is that my fingers typed faster than my brain thinks...

Have to admit, my interest is still waning. Just not grabbing me like it used to. Especially as of late where they have all but left anything important in regards to the other universe and D.R. Jones behind. It looks like MAYBE we will get some of it this coming Friday. I can only hope.
